I Messed Up and I Missed Out

If you follow us on social media you know that ROW just had a very important weekend. Although the weekend was technically deemed the “ROW Board Meeting Weekend” or as I decided to name it #ROWretreat14, it was incredibly much more than that. It was a time for fellowship – fellowship full of laughs, prayer, encouragement, insight, and of course, food.

To say the least, there was a copious amount of leftover food. We had everything from chips to salad to sandwiches to croissants. What to do with the food? Give it away to people who might not get three hearty meals a day.

So, Lauren took a huge bag full of an assortment of chips and I took the sandwiches, salad, and croissants. She gave the bag of chips to a man on the corner of a street near her home in Kirkwood. I was going to drop off the other…
